Evan Ramzi is an architectural photographer based in Los Angeles.
Through his work, Evan seeks to distill the emotion of a space, giving his clients a new perspective on their own work while helping define how it will be seen by the world.
Evan grew up in Southern California where, early on, he was drawn into Los Angeles' improvised music scene. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music under jazz legend Jon Faddis before returning to Los Angeles.
He credits his years of collaboration across artistic disciplines as foundational to his photographic approach, allowing him to bring an intuitive and improvisatory sensibility to an industry that often skews technical.
The opportunity to bring to life the work of talented architects and designers, whether well established or up-and-coming, is Evan's greatest privilege. For him, photography is more than documentation. It is the final, essential act of a project and the symbiotic designer-photographer relationship, rooted in trust, is at its core.
Whether deepening a longtime collaboration or beginning a new one, Evan looks forward to creating images through which his clients' work will be known and experienced for many years to come.
